Day 1: (D): Come experience true Southern hospitality and charm in South Carolina and Georgia. Tonight we will have an overnight at the Drury in Charlotte. We will enjoy a 5:30pm kickback. Served from, 5:30pm-7:00pm. With a rotating menu with items such a chicken fingers, baked potatoes, buffalo-style chicken wings, charbroiled meatballs, fresh carrots and celery, egg rolls, garden salad, soup and much more.

Day 2: (B, L, D)Enjoy the hotel's breakfast before beginning your day. After breakfast board your bus and depart for Charleston South Carolina.

Our first stop is at the Magnolia Plantation. You will enjoy a box lunch from the Magnolia Plantation Peacock Cafe. After lunch we will enjoy the Magnolia House & Nature Tram. This 500-acre estate was acquired in 1676 by the Drayton family, whose heirs still own and manage it. The 60-acre garden, one of America's oldest, dates from around 1680 and contains 900 varieties of camellias, 250 types of azaleas and hundreds of other flowering species providing year-round color. Built in the Greek revival style, the plantation house depicts life since the Civil War and displays Early American antiques and rare botanical and ornithological prints and books. The present house is a combination of the house burned during the Civil War and a pre-Revolutionary summer house, originally located 10 miles up the Ashley River, disassembled and rebuilt on the burned-out brick first story of its predecessor.

Tonight we will have an overnight at the Holiday Inn Riverview. Located right on the Ashley River, 100% non-smoking, full-service hotel offers several complimentary amenities, as well as views of the Charleston Peninsula, the Charleston Harbor, the Ashley River, the City Marina, and more!

Dinner at Charleston Crab House - James Island riverside restaurant. After dinner we are off for the James Island Festival of Lights. This long standing Charleston event that many look forward to around Christmas. It really does fill the air with Christmas and the Holiday season. This 3 mile driving tour takes you throughout the James Island County Park with over 600 displays and 500,000 Lights.

Day 3: (B, D) Enjoy Breakfast at the hotel before loading your bus and departing for the Jekyll Island area.

Included this afternoon visit the History Center, and Tram Tour. Traveling by tram through the historic district is like stepping back in time, viewing "cottages" built by the rich and famous. Hear the story of how they acquire this island hideaway. This time of year many of these are decorated in Period Decoration of the late 1800 & early 1900s.

We will check into the Jekyll Island Club Resort.Upon arrival, we will have a complimentary punch and cookies reception. Then we will be taken on a tour of the hotel with the history of the hotel. The hotel began life as a hunting and recreational club in 1886 for a group of society's elite - the Astor’s, Rockefellers, Gould’s and Morgan’s.

Day 4: (B, L, D)Enjoy breakfast before beginning your day. Today we visit the Hofwyl Plantation. Hofwyl is a former rice plantation which remained in the same family for over two centuries. Masive live oaks surround Hofwyl and the plantation overlooks the Altamaha River Delta. During Christmas season the house will be decorated in the Victorian style.

After departing the plantation, Lunch is included at Skipper's Fish Camp. After lunch we will travel to Historic Savannah for a City Tour. You will enjoy this "windshield" driving tour aboard the comfort of your motorcoach. Unique park-like squares, cobblestone and brick streets, mansions and row houses are shaded by Live Oak trees draped in Spanish moss.

Tonight our Savannah hotel is the Hampton Inn & Suites

This evening enjoy dinner, nestled under the palms of Turner's Creek, Paula Deen's Creek House offers a wide variety of Southern classics and seafood favorites with a coastal, Savannah flair. Serving up traditional seafood dishes and southern favorites.

After dinner we will take in a show at the Historic Savannah Theatre. "A Christmas Tradition” brings you holiday glitz and glitter in one magical production. The theatre is transformed into a perfect holiday picture, sharing memories of the Christmas standards that you know and love. Sprinkle in a little comedy and audience participation for the greatest event of the season.

Day 5: (B, L, D)After breakfast we will be off on an exciting adventure, A Low Country Tour. We visit the Byrd Cookie company flagship store, located at the Factory. You can smell the cookies baking from the parking lot! Enjoy a cookie-tasting and browsing their marketplace for a huge selection of locally made gourmet foods, holiday decor, and unique gifts from Savannah. A Savannah Tradition since 1924! View outlying areas that showcase river inlets, marshes and tidal creeks as we travel to Savannah's Beach at Tybee Island. Hear about the Fort Pulaski National Monument & Park, followed by a brief overview of the Island's unique Coastal living style. Enjoy a drive-by view of Georgia's oldest and tallest Lighthouse - guiding mariners from the Atlantic into the Savannah River for more than 270 years; and then stop & unload for a photo-op and a beach walk to experience the Atlantic Ocean. Before leaving the Island make a quick stop at Tybee Oaks for last minute souvenirs at this collection of fun & quirky little beach shops.

Lunch today will be at River House Restaurant or similar. After lunch we will be departing Savannah and heading northward.Tonight we will have an overnight at the Drury in Charlotte. We will enjoy a 5:30pm kickback. Served from, 5:30pm-7:00pm. Day 6: (B)Today after an included breakfast at your hotel, board your deluxe motorcoach for a relaxing trip back home.
