Day 2 (B, D): After an included breakfast, we head to Cape Cod. Breathe in the salted air and feel the coastal breezes as we drive onto Cape Cod for a relaxing three-night stay. On arrival, a local guide will greet you with a warm welcome. Take some time to relax and freshen up before enjoying a delicious, local dinner this evening.

Day 3 (B, D): Following breakfast, we start the day with a tour of Hyannis, including a stop for pictures at the JFK Memorial and Korean Memorial that overlooks the beautiful Veterans Beach. Then, set sail for a scenic one-hour harbor cruise around Hyannis Harbor, enjoying views of Hyannis Port and Kennedy Compound. Your journey continues along historic Route 6A, more fondly known as Old Kings Highway, to the Cape’s oldest town, Sandwich. Enjoy a visit to the Green Briar Nature Center for a tour and jam tasting.

Enjoy free time to explore Sandwich Village. Stroll around Shawme Pond, view the historic Dexter Grist Mill and take a sip out of the “fountain of youth”. Then visit the US Army Corps of Engineers, Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center. Some highlights include a retired 41-foot US Army Corps of Engineers patrol boat, a 46-seat theater showing continuous DVD presentations on canal history, wildlife and wildflowers, and real-time radar and camera images of the waterway. Afterwards, we return to our hotel to relax and freshen up before dinner.

Day 4 (B, D): Enjoy breakfast before we depart with our local step-on guide for a wonderful day of touring the lower and outer cape! Journey to the charming seaside village of Chatham, along with a picture stop at Chatham Lighthouse Beach. Then continue on to the Cape Cod National Seashore and visit the Salt Pond Visitors Center. Here, we enjoy a brief film on the National Seashore and explore the museum to learn about the Cape’s seafaring heritage and harvest history. Step into life as it used to be on Cape Cod. Then, tour through the park to enjoy the spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean.

Once in Provincetown, visit Race Point Beach and spend some time browsing around the downtown waterfront area, filled with artistic and eclectic shops. This evening dig into a traditional lobster dinner.

Day 5 (B): After breakfast, enjoy some salty treats at the popular Cape Cod Potato Chip Factory. See how these delicious chips are made on a self-guided tour (and don’t forget to grab a few samples). Later, we bid farewell to Cape Cod as we start our journey back home, with an overnight stay in Warners, New York.
