Columbus Ale Trail - April 25, 2020
Columbus' craft beer scene keeps growing and changing, and that means you'll find something new each time you visit. Greater Columbus breweries range from highly regarded production breweries to neighborhood nano breweries and everything in between. Columbus beer styles focus on using Ohio grain and an increasing amount of local hops. We will have Columbus Ail Trail passports for you to start or bring your own passport to collect a few more stamps.

Join us for a fun way to explore the local beer scene through the Columbus Ale Trail. After a late morning departure, we will make our way to BrewDog Brewery in Canal Winchester, where you will have lunch on your own. Upon arrival, enjoy a flight tasting at your leisure. A few of BrewDogs headliners are Punk IPA, Clockwork Tangerine, Jet Black Heart, Lost Lager and Elvis Juice. During our time at BrewDog, we will have a private behind-the-scene tour of the brewery. Next on our journey through Columbus’ Ale Trail, we head to DankHouse in Newark. This brewery currently uses a 2.5bbl system to cultivate their visions into flavor-packed beers, one small batch at a time. Dankhouse specializes in IPA's, stouts and fruited kettle sours. The Dankhouse was named as one of the country's top 12 new breweries of 2018 by the team at Hop Culture. DankHouse has also been featured in Craft Beer & Brewing Magazine's New Brewery Spotlight. At DankHouse, the atmosphere is as dope as the beers! Our last stop of the day is at one of Columbus’ most unique Breweries, Buckeye Lake Brewery in Buckeye Lake. You can sit back and sample a few beer flights before sitting down to a dinner. Some of the options at Buckeye Lake Brewery are Pontoon Pale Ale, Pineapple Shovelhead, Legend Valley IPA and Nut Brown Ale.
Tour note: All passengers must be 21 years of age or older to book this tour. Visitors with open-toe shoes or stiletto heels will not be permitted to take the tour at BrewDog. Only closed-toe shoes please.
